Sustain top performance and goal attainment from your teamor build leadership strengths
Do you have technically competent people in managerial roles that need to step up their game when it comes to managing people? Being very good at the technical aspects of a job doesn’t necessarily give you the skills that are required for managing people. All of a sudden you find yourself in a situation where you are responsible for your team’s performance. You now have to deal with conflict, conduct tough conversations, motivate your team, evaluate their performance, develop them ……and the list goes on.
That means learning new skills that are required of you, skills that don’t come naturally to most people. That’s where executive coaching comes in; to expand your leadership capacity, improve your strategic decision-making skills and your ability to lead teams to drive collaboration across your organization.
The Executive Leadership Coaching programs are designed with your objectives in mind – to achieve and sustain top performance and goal attainment from your team(performance coaching) or build leadership strengths. We offer coaching at every level of the organization whether to create bench strength through preparing the advancement of aspiring managers or enhance the performance and effectiveness of top executives in competencies that will keep them on top of their game.
What is Performance Coaching?
Performance coaching centers around coaching executives to discover and implement personal solutions to challenging issues and areas of performance. The executive coaching process used in conjunction with the Elegant Leadership Model incorporates 15 essential elements of improving performance to achieve organizational goals, while simultaneously enhancing leadership performance and satisfaction. Because the solutions are intrinsic to the “coachee,” they are more likely to succeed and endure than solutions imposed externally.
What is Leadership Coaching?
Leadership coaching revolves at working with successful executives to become better leaders. During the process, coaches work with executives on making targeted changes in leadership behavior, strengthening key leadership competencies, and letting go of patterns that don’t serve them.
Who Needs Executive Coaching?
Whether you are a CEO, C-level executive, front line manager, supervisor, or middle manager, as long as you are looking to improve your skills as a leader and improve your personal effectiveness, executive coaching is for you. The factor that determines success is “coachability” and “wanting to change.”
How Does It Work?
The program begins with a self and peer appraisal process through internationally renowned 360 degree leadership assessments such as Roche Martin 360 degree or Checkpoint 360 from Profiles XT to evaluate the effectiveness of your managers and leaders. The assessments allow managers to better understand the gap between their self-image and how others perceive them and become the foundation for their personal performance and/or leadership development plan.
Unlike training, coaching focuses very specifically on the issues that an executive wants to work through and accelerates the pace of at which one can improve skills to achieve personal and professional objectives. Personalized coaching sessions enable the staff member to concentrate on the issues that are most critical to their performance and work through them. You are able to address specific problems that may be outside of a normal business framework.
Coaching programs can be designed to take place weekly or bi-weekly for behavioral modification and longer for performance and development programs, depending on the situation and goals to be achieved. Weekly or bi-weekly confidential 1-1.5 hour coaching and accountability sessions are conducted utilizing the assessment tools, the individual growth strategy plan, executive dashboard, weekly focus sheets, and coaching conversations. Sessions will be documented for successes and setbacks for the time period in between each session on the weekly focus sheet.
During the coaching sessions, our seasoned executive coaches work one-on-one with mid- senior level executives to:
- identify leadership strengths and the areas for development
- create a leadership development plan that integrates values and strengths, allowing you to define goals and track progress over time
- Build self-awareness, enabling personal and professional growth and change
- Practice transforming experiences into learning opportunities
How long does the program take?
We typically have six-to-12-month engagements that involve weekly or bi-weekly sessions via video conferencing, phone, or in person sessions. Email check-ins keeps the momentum going between sessions. You chose the competencies you want to strengthen and focus on. The pace, and regularity of the sessions will depend on your needs and what you personally want to achieve
